McCain on Benghazi: Yeah, I Got a Pretty Good Idea Why Obama Would Mislead the American Public

Obama did not get Bin Laden! I don't think he knew anything about it until the operation was set in motion and he could not abort the mission. The photo I saw of him watching it on TV, or whatever, looked as though his image was superimposed into it. He was out of proportion to everyone else in the photo. Plus, when he announced the Bin Laden had been killed, rather than an expression of triumph as one would think he'd have after getting the world's most wanted terrorist, I saw anger in his eyes. I think the reason why he lied about Benghazi and says that Al-Qaida is on the run is because he does not want our military to go after them. He is their ally.

In that 1 pic supposedly of Bin Laden being confronted, I thought it odd he seemed to have almost exactly the same expression (sort of half-smile, almost serene) as in that file photo the media were always using. Photoshop, anyone?

On CBS’ “Face the Nation” Sunday morning Arizona Senator John McCain made an astute if obvious observation about why the Obama administration would feel inclined to mislead Americans about the deadly raid (read: terrorist attack) on the US consulate in Benghazi, Libya last September: It interferes with their erroneous “al Qaeda is on the run” talking point (via Mediaite):
