Things are changing: "Top Bank of England director admits Occupy movement had a point" The youth of the world are taking over - and they're serious about it. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/top-bank-of-england-director-admits-occupy-movement-had-a-point-8231521.html

is that before or after they finish urinating in public parks

but perhaps this fool can explain how losers on welfare and no jobs are going to take over any place that has the resources to protect their depositors

and I guess I remain skeptical that parasites and other assorted losers had anything to say that others are going to listen to

So, how do the youth of the world intend to support themselves in the future that they envision? If it has to do with "spending other people's money"...sorry, but that bank is being closed down.

The same way that the youth of your generation did. Just because they're young and idealistic doesnt mean that we're different from you, less intelligent, less accomplished than you.
Robin311 Wrote: Nov 13, 2012 1:59 PM
So, you mean that you intend to work for it, develop new products, start up new businesses?

Not under the new progressive agenda being put into place you won't. Neither will we.

What makes you think that young people do not have the same capacity for creativity and innovation that you did? Who are the tech innovators of today? Who are the people setting many of our national conversations? People in their 20's and 30's. The country is moving forward, and it appears to be done without you. Have some faith in the citizens of this country - we're all we have.

I do have faith in the people of this country. This is not the time to pursue the type of policies that the Obama admin is pursuing. Our economy can't handle it right now.

Well, a majority of your countrymen feel that now is the time.
olddoc4444 Wrote: Nov 13, 2012 4:37 PM
No, a majority of those who went out to vote. Last I heard, polling showed that 60% feel we are headed in the wrong direction.

The difference is, a significant portion of our generation grew up. This last election shows that the ever-burgeoning Peter Pan population is now a significant voting bloc.

President Obama is scheduled to meet with labor and progressive leaders today at the White House to discuss the fiscal cliff and overall economic strategy moving into his second term. The meeting will take place behind closed doors and the press isn't invited. Exactly who will be there?

·Lee Saunders, AFSCME

·Dennis Van Roekel, NEA

·Rich Trumka, AFL-CIO

·Neera Tanden, Center for American Progress
