Cleo: " Christians need to remember their pagan roots." Christianity has no pagan roots. Christianity is based on Judaism, and Judaism has been monotheistic for the best part of 4,000 years. It did not spring up as a synthesis of existing Middle-Eastern Pagan religions, but on its own, worshiping the One True God exclusively of all others. Pagans throughout history - whether Baal worshipers in anciant Canaan, or Obama worshipers now - have persecuted Jews and Christians who refused to conform to the Pagans' wills. There is nothing in Christian theology that evolved from paganism.
