Seems to me that an unsatisfying politician might make a damn good President.
I appreciate your loss. However, sometimes there is simply nothing that can be done. In the case you cite, your friend was still exercising her right to make good or bad choices in her life. I don't doubt that friends and family did all they could to intervene, that's all we can do. Government intervention only leads to tyranny. The right to make choices in our lives, good or bad is too important to sacrifice in the name of the greater good.
Really! SURELY you jest! Because it happens all the time and I have yet to see anyone fired! Furthermore, the only CONSEQUENCES of 1st Amendment protected speech should be vigorous debate.

I am a Mormon and we believe the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly. In other words, mistakes have crept into the Bible as it has been translated from language to language. However, it still contains the word of God and the fullness of the Gospel. You have cherry-picked certain scriptures out of context, and with malicious intent misinterpreted them. For example: 2 Kings 6:26 -- Describes the conditions of people under seige. Isaiah 13:16 -- Talks of the consequences of sin and not attending to the well-being of our children. Each of the passages you cited, when read in the proper context teach valuable lessons.
Thank God for the Constitution that allows me the free exercise of my free will. And the ability to help those in need freely and voluntarily, and reap the blessing of heaven. May it also protect me from those who would take those blessing away.

Conservatives need to show in droves in the primaries next year and vote for the Republican candidate most likely to win. To do otherwise is sheer stupidity! We have to take back the Senate and the Presidency and then work on getting this great country back on the right track. I am a 64 grandfaother and have been a conservative since my early teens. It is time to elect people who favor free markets, and family values and forget about ideological purity. By-the-way, take your RINO label and stuff-it!

I am a 64 year old grandfather of 23, who has worked in the private sector all my life. I have ran two small businesses successfully. You are an unmitigated dolt spouting exactly what the Democrates want to hear.
