So Long Mike! You have failed the fairness test. I glad that your read the Book of Mormon. However, your criticism of the Mormon Church is made with basically old arguements, many of which are fabrications after the fact, and have been more than adequately addressed many times. I wish you well, and I have enjoyed reading many of your articles. However, it is likely that I won't be reading too many of them in the future.

The best definition of a Christian is simply: Do you accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and redeemer, and as the literal Son of God. However, I admit that I do like your approach.

Perhaps, you should look at Matthew 16:13-19. 18. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Now ask yourself is the rock Peter or is it something much greater. Perhaps it was the revelation and testimony he received testify to the divinity of Christ.

Hey Mike, I haven't made it past the 2nd paragraph of your article, and perhaps never will. Up until this moment I didn't realize your true feelings towards Mormons, and have always enjoy and support most of your thoughts and articles. You should spend some time reviewing and learning about the earliest Christians, and tell the world which of the modern day religions is closests to the Church established by Christ. The truth will surprise you. I suspect that you cling to a doctrine imposed on Christianity by a pagan Roman Emperor. And while this doctrine has reigned surpreme in most of Christianity for 1700 years. Your position ignores the the fact that during the first 300 years of Christianity this was not the Doctrine of the Church founded by Christ. In fact your position suggests that the earliest Christians were not Christian after all. OK, I will read the rest of your article. I do happen to agree with your position on marriage.

I am 63 and plan to work until I am 67 or maybe even until I am 70. I have also saved a significant amount for retirement. I will be OK, However, it's really quite sad, in this past election the majority of those that are nearing or already on SS voted for the man who at least indicated that he would do something to resolve the problems with SS. Unfortunately, those who are years from receiving any benefits voted for the status quo. To those foolish enough to vote for the status quo, Please do not point at me or my generation and suggest that we were to greedy to think of your future. You had the chance and blew it. Good Luck!

Not complaining about a thing! I have worked hard all my life and know the value of hard work. I have sufficient for my retirement. I am just not going worry about idiots like you anymore. And by the way my children and grandchildren also so know how to work and will be fine. Finally, you would be well served to speak less and listen more. At present you only reveal your utter lack intelligences.

But now that the majority of younger voters (because they know everything) voted to support the Progressive path (Obama). I will retire with a clear conscience.
