Smart observations! Obama should have been defeated easily in this kind of economy and Republicans will clearly need to learn what it takes to become electable. Obama promised the moon and could not deliver. Romney just did not give the right vibe to the right voters. They saw him as a good businessman, yes, but also someone who would sacrifice the middle class for the greater good. It does not matter if that kind of plan would work if you can't get the right people on board.

Silver was a minority in a sea of hopeful pundits looking for a Romney landside. Keep browsing around the next few days, they'll figure out how they got it so wrong.

I don't think how many books one's sold or how many are willing to pay you to speak to an audience always a good measure of significance. Jersey Shore anyone? Coulter is paid to ruffle feathers sometimes, so her more abrasive personality I usually attribute to that kind of obligation to her "brand". Which of course, help her aforementioned book sale and public speaker engagements. Doesn't mean she's always wrong or right, but you're gonna have a lot of people that are turned off by her and strangely enough, that actually brings in more attention.

Did you know that around 25-30% of zygotes (fertilized eggs) in a woman are naturally aborted or flushed out at the early stages, before it settles in the uterus? Why isn't there any funding or research to make sure these zygotes make it to term? The "well, it's natural" argument doesn't work because cancer is natural and I just ran a 5k for that last year. Shouldn't there be a concern in the pro-life movement about these zygotes?
What went wrong?
Totally right, you can just say, based on the evidence, I don't agree. Nothing else is really going to shut the Labelmakers up. Not even that really, they'll take is as evidence of truth.
"Even Slick Willie Clinton said that Romney was manifestly qualified to be POTUS and praiseworthy (as a man and accomplished person) in myriad areas...and Mitt was not even impeached, or disbarred or caught lying about a zipper challenge! " I cannot find a single shred of evidence to that. Maybe you're referring to a former Hillary Clinton aide that ended up endorsing Romney? Either way, I'm sure you're full of these kinds of false statements. I yearn to point them out at every turn.
