Instead of writing an article acknowledging mistakes, a real reporter/journalist would have done a minimum of research. But liberal zealots are do not operate from facts and reason; they play on people's emotions. Probably the vast majority of those in the liberal media preaching gun control, as with this author, have no idea....NONE....what gun ownership involves, what it means, how the Second Amendment came about and how asinine "gun control" legislation truly is. People like Bloomingidiot, Cuomo, Diane FrankenFeinstein, Biden and all the rest are obsessed with gun confiscation for completely irrational reasons. They are anti-Constitutionalists. I have already thanked Mr. Bialosky for correcting his mistake. Unlike the MSM, he admitted his mistake. Now if only 52% of america would admit their mistake known as Obama.

Don't downplay the admitting of a mistake. That's necessary for the proper establishment of fact. It highlights the basic honor of the writer. Would you trust the word of someone who NEVER admits to being wrong? Like Obama?
