The Need for Semi-Automatic "Assault" Weapons

First I dont NEED any weapons but I have an obligation to defend my family and my country against all criminals regardless if they sneak in the night or are elected ones. As to any laws they pass they are invalid and I dont need hand picked sycophants in congress or SCOTUS to tell me different the founders where quite clear on the subject: “Every law consistent with the Constitution will have been made in pursuance of the powers granted by it.
