Heritage's Scare Tactics

As usual Ms Chavez will place he heritage and partisan party politics over the concerns of the country as a whole. No one is against legal immigration I like many others am a product of that immigration but my grandparents didnt sneak into the country they did it the way millions of others have legally. Open boarders has two problems the first is security knowing and only allowing those in without any dangerous connections secondly having the welfare state available to all will be a total economic disaster I believe Heritage's estimates to be on the LOW side
stop all the OTM traffic its a national security issue.
The problem is not that hard to fix. First of all to get any form of welfare or food stamps you have to be a citizen. Create a streamlined guest worker program you get "invited" by a employer. You are issued a guest Worker ID (DNA and finger prints required) it has an expiration date you have to leave the country by checking out if it expires and you haven't checked out a warrant is issued then you spend 180 days out in Sheriff Joe's motel. Guest workers can apply for citizen ship following the same procedure as everyone else. Anyone who cant prove naturalization or natural born in US is ineligible for any assistance from government. Guest workers are taxed same as everyone else. Put the National guard on the borders and stop all the...
Arguing if the AR 15 is or isnt an assault weapon is a waste of time. Assault weapons were banned to all but the moneyed and connected in 1935. If Davids sling shot was all we had left to protect ourselves and it was effective they would ban and confiscate the slings and the rocks. The second amendment taken in context is very clear. At the time muskets were the weapon used by the military and they wanted everyone to be armed with equivalent weaponry if thats not the intend then they wouldn't have included the amendment because it wouldn't effect the goal they wanted which was and is individual liberty and defense.
Asking a stranger on the street to watch your wallet for you is safer than believing these politicians Confiscation is their GOAL plain and simple for any reason using any excuse and its UNCONSTITUTIONAL
They dont FAIL to realize anything most honest everyday people including senators FAIL to realize there agenda has NOTHING to do with protecting anyone EXCEPT a TYRANNICAL government. Eventual total bans are what they are after they are smart enough to do it a stepo at a time but they are so close they can taste it. Their efforts can result in massive violence

The Drone Debate: A Matter of Trust

hagar2 Wrote: Mar 08, 2013 7:43 AM
Is your opposition based on a blanket principle that no President should have such power, or is it a spurred by a mistrust of the current administration? Well I'd like to say trust but verify which is what Rand Paul was asking for verification of the Administrations position. As to me I can think of no valid reason to use an attack drone on a US citizen in the US short of all out invasion. You might as well ask about B52 carpet bombing while you are at it. McCain and Graham have gone over to the dark side on this issue. If my civil liberties are not respected by my government then the rational for that government no longer exists.
Ted Cruz is the kind of senator we need McCain on the other hand has used up all my sympathy for his war time imprisonment I have friends that never came back and he stands on occasion for things that will have them rolling over in their graves. Mr McCain be a good soldier and just fade away.
He and They consider us subjects just like King George III only it worse now because they are sticking there noses into everything and average people have no representaion only special interests do
