Obama's and the media's (every reporter an Obama campaign worker as Newt so rightly says) trick is to paint gross caricatures of Romney's opinions and polcies and then argue, not against the real Romney, but against the caricatures. What Romney did, without media intereference, Pelosi, Reid, Matthews or Brian Williams, or Andrea Mitchell was merely to show up to the debate as himself, the real person, and proceed to put his foot through one after the other of their imaginary portraits and substitute genuine photos for them.
