Realpolitik: 1. The state of the economy doesn't matter except for this--the more poor people Obama and Democrats create the better it is for them. There are more government-dependants who will vote Democrat. If through some miracle the economy does improve, Obama gets the credit. Republicans nly get credit for obstructionism. 2. Only the most obtuse head in the sand ostrich can't see that Obama already controls the SCOTUS because Roberts defected to his side with the monstrous Obamacare decision and his own comment that he would do nothing to to impede Obama henceforth. 3. No scandals for Obama--the MSM protects him unlike everything we've seen before. They have become the state run Pravda media.
