Is GOP Risking a New Cold War?

Buchanan hasn't mentioned the fact that the Obama Administration denied Republicans access to the transcript of the Obama administration's negotiating record, which could reveal secret concessions or understandings. Further, there is no precedent for approving a major treaty during a lame-duck session.. of course there was also no precident for an appropriations bill to originate in the Senate until Obamacare.... behind closed and locked doors with only one party at the table... The GOP needs to say NO, loudly and clearly until they and the public can see exactly what the treaty says, debate the pros and cons and do it during a normal session, instead of rushing it through the lame duck. In fact, if the GOP were smart they would...

Obama's Slump

Obama and the Democrats in Congress are not interested in addressing the economy or unemployment. What they have been interested in is borrowing money by the boatload from China and spreading it around to enhance their political power, while they systematically strip us of our liberty via every piece of so-called emergency legislation they've rammed through the Congress. Finally American's are waking up to the scam that is the Democratic agenda.. hence the tea party movement sprang up from moms & dads, grandmothers and great-grandmothers who saw what Obama and his merry band of marxists really stood for and where they are trying to take this country. It's not just no, it's HELL NO!!

Yes past presidents have addressed school kids, and let's flashback to 1991:
-House Democrats criticized President Bush of turning government money for education to his own political use
-"The DOE should not be producing paid political advertising for the president, it should be helping us to produce smarter students," House Majority Leader Richard A. Gephardt (D-Mo.) said. "And the president should be doing more about education than saying, 'Lights, camera, action.' "
-Deputy Secretary David T. Kearns provided late in the day in a letter to Rep. William D. Ford (D-Mi) & House Education and Labor Committee Chair demanded an explaination for use of it's funds for the speech
-Rep. Patricia Schroeder (D-Co), Select...
Funny how they let the Wall St. companies that donated mainly to Republicans fail, yet bailed our the ones who funds their campaigns.

Funny how they pre-bartered bankruptsy so the UAW wouldn't have to loose anything, but the actual owners got nada.

Funny how now they want to dictate free healthcare for the unions and community activists, while innocently trying to tell us that 'if we like our healthcare blah, blah, blah....and sneaking around cutting deals that would create a government run plan and yes death panels.

Funny when constituents complain they don't read the bills, they fix the problem by not even bothering to writing the bills.

Funny how they whine and cry when anyone says the least little...

and put the bite on Catholic politicians who promote the secular politics of death (abortion, stem cell research and euthanasia) while using their faith as cover like Kennedy, Pelosi , and Biden.

Could it be that the faithful have finally begun to hold THEM (bishops) to account as well? This years Catholic Campaign for Human Development (U.S. Catholic bishops domestic anti-poverty social justice program) had grassroots opposition because many of the groups funded through CCHD donations support same-sex marraige, birth control in the form of the day after pill and/or abortion.

We also saw Catholics who opposed having a pro-abortion President receive an honors from Nortre Dame stand up in spite of the slurs of racism...

If you consider Col. North a traitor - why are you reading his posts? I read because I honor his military service and appreciate a military perspective on the issues, even as the Administration continually turns it's back on our allies and bows at the feet of our enemies.

No, I'll trust a military man for a history lesson any day over an ideologue...

Dems' 2010 Strategy to Win

Dems are going to protect us from the very people they handed bailouts to? Especially after they just granted Freddie & Fannie unlimited taxpayer money on Christmas eve to begin handing out more subprime mortgages that can't be paid back AND granted their CEO's a whopping 6M raise. The only people we need protection from are the low-life weasels in Washington....

Dems think they're going to force Republicans to defend NOT going along with bailing out Wall Street, banks, car companies. They're going to force Republicans to defend NOT going along with doling out trillions to 'stimulate' the economy (or more accurately, their campaign coffers) and to sell their vote for healthcare legislation that is so bad they can't pass it...
for his embracing of the stimulous and grandstanding for it with Obama here in Florida. We are also disappointed in his appointment of his best friend to the Senate to hold the spot that he assumes he will fill. We voted for him, but that kind of arrogance needs to be voted out of office - be it from Democrats or Republicans. In fact, it might not be a bad thing to churn the whole of Congress - no incumbents should remain.

the b.s. that spews forth from his lying lips. For the rest of America it's like pig latin - everything he says is the exact opposite of what he professes in real life. Every program is a jobs killer, making the economy worse with the ONLY growth the jobs he created in his Administration with the 30 something communist czars, the government plans to buy cars and houses for those who are already employed and are by Democratic definition "rich', because you know darned well the unemployed and poor can't get anything financed these days.

So whats been done to create jobs? The Democratic scum-bag trifecta just lost 2% of Aetna's job force and will loose 2% more in January in ANTICIPATION of their healthcare scam. That's on top...
