Tibby, if you notice in the libs arguments they constantly gyrate from total dollar amounts to percentages base on what will garner the most $ amounts in the quest of confiscation. With Big Oil and Health Insurance its all about the total dollars or as the left puts it "obscene profits" even though the average profit margin for those industries is 6-7% and 2-3% respectively. Conversely when attacking the rich its all about the percentage. That is why someone that pays 15% of his income on say 50000 ($7500 FIT) is getting screwed more than someone paying 15% on 3 million (450,000 FIT). You never hear them scream about the "obscene profits" of thier chief benefactor, the government do you?

Hannity to Coulter: "You sound like Obama." Fightin' words:

SH: So are you saying that, for PR purposes, that they should give in to Obama on the tax rate?
AC: Not exactly, I--Well, yeah, I guess I am.
SH: You're saying capitulate to Obama? We don't have a revenue problem, Ann.
AC: We lost the election, Sean.

Hannity seems genuinely flummoxed by Coulter's capitulatory attitude, but does she have a point?  Recent polling has been gruesome...
