If Barry doesn't want to author his own deficit reduction plan, no problem. Give him a Republican plan to chew on. I'd like to see the House pass legislation to increase the debt limit. Attached to this bill would be all the spending reductions that the Biden group agreed on. Republicans would then be free to tack on their own cuts until they reach an acceptable number. Also attached to this bill will wording in support of entitlement reform and a balanced budget amendment, to be discussed/negotiated at a later time.
