Why anyone would pay for dinner with a Hollywood celebrity is beyond me. I could understand a giggling high school girl who is charmed by Clooney's looks, but how stupid do you have to be to pay to sit with a guy or gal, whose lines were always written for them. They aren't known for their great thoughts. I find it difficult to pay 10-20 bucks to see a movie with him in it, let alone 1000 dollars to hear him speak his own lines. What a waste of money.
