The problem is that the former slave owners, the Democrats, who oppose the Voters Rights Act and other GOP supported legislation, have tried to tag the GOP with all the evil they themselve do. When I listen to a Progressive Dem speak about the GOP, I always know he's completely wrong about the GOP, and that he's telling us who HE is. (or SHE if that be the case). When members of the Dem-Party speak about Medicare issues, they are enviisioning what tthey want to happen. It is never what the GOP wants. They have no understanding of what Conservatives want, because they have never really seat down to speak with one.
