The fact that a conservative economist supported it doesn't just change the fact it's bad policy. You can cherry pick any piece of legislation, liberal or conservative, & find Congressional votes, editorials or position papers from what would seem to be hostile factions. Good Lord, Sheila Jackson Lee wanted Enron bailed out. George Bush pushed for No Child Left Behind. NY Senators Clinton & Schumer pushed for Wall Street bailouts.......................................leave it to liberal to start spouting racism. I didn't even use the term "Apartment" or "Chicago".

It is, perhaps, the ultimate “do as I say, not as I do” scenario: progressive entertainment stars and politicians telling us that we shouldn’t possess firearms.

So now would be a good time for American progressives to rise up and do for their icons, as their icons seek to do for us: it’s time for an entire movement of celebrity gun buy-back events.
