Our educational system has failed us. Media is destructive.

College Players Deserve More

If this passes we may see an end to much of college sports, particularly women's sports programs. Only football and basketball make any money at all. And football revenue pays for most other sports programs. I know. I have a daughter on college rowing team. They have no revenue and considerable expenses.

Our coach at University of Oklahoma is the highest paid state employee, more than governor, college president, and neurosurgeons at OU Health Sciences Center.

Separation of Government From Press

This is just a way of disseminating the government 'line'. I can't believe they would think of this! If this happened, like lots of things the past 5 years, in a Republican administration, there would be screaming from the media.

"we cannot rely on those in the media and in politics to tell us the truth" We need a trustworthy education system in America. Sadly, what we have is an education system that does NOT train an educated citizenry.

It is tragic, that here in America, "we cannot rely on those in the media and in politics to tell us the truth". We cannot even really trust our own government to tell us the truth. How can we ever expect the majority of our citizens, many of whom ONLY hear the mainstream media, TV and movies, the government education establishment, and the government 'line', to ever seek, or know the truth?
OK, so you raise the Minimum Wage to $20.00 and hour, and the price of hamburgers goes up. And I will choose to just make my hamburger at home. And the hamburger store goes out of business. You can't force anyone to pay the high price, at least not yet, in America.
Why not make the Minimum Wage a million dollars a year and we can all be rich!
