There are millions of acres of fallow farmland in America. We desperately need to ensure future farmers for America. Why don't we push for a new "homesteading act" for the sane urban poor; if they work the land for five to ten years, let them own the land tax free, or at a very minimum tax rate after ten or so years.

So much time and money and digital ink has been spent in recent months trying to figure out “what went wrong” during the last election cycle. But perhaps the answer is simpler than we realize: Writing in the Wall Street Journal on Monday, AEI president Arthur C.
