My oldest daughter was a Army medic and shot expert in basic training. She owns a Kimber M1911 (actually, it's my son-in-law's but she shoots it), a AR15, and a .380 purse gun. My youngest daughter is a former Marine and she shot Sharpshooter in boot camp and then pistol qualified later at Camp LeJeune where she shot expert. I was kinda hoping they would take ME to the range and help me figure out why the hell I can't shoot like they do.
Oh, my oldest daughter now has two girls of her own, and each of my granddaughters has had a small, pink, single-shot Cricket .22 purchased for them for when they're old enough to start shooting (oldest is 4, youngest is almost 2). I know they'll have fun.
