In case you don't know the details - Obummer leaves office as a millionaire (possibly multi-millionaire) plus his own "standing army" he promised this country he would raise. Several years ago I was misidentified by someone as a Democrat and was invited to listen to an SEIU phone conference on the tactics they were going to use to win the 2012 election. I listened to the speakers and the preplanned questions for almost two hours. Scared the living daylights out of me. And they succeeded in their goals. Please don't take this lightly. The SEIU is Obummers personal organization and they pledge allegiance to him, not the US. See: http://www.seiu.org/a/ourunion/fast-facts.php

Dr Sowell is 80 years old and is too wise to run for office at that age. If you will, there is a younger Dr Sowell - Dr Ben Carson. Dr Sowell had heartedly endorsed the views and solutions put forth by Ben Carson. Please, for the sake of the country, read everything you can about Ben Carson.

Good grief, Delta. Dr. Carson's executive management skills at Johns Hopkins are certainly more credible than a community organizer (aka ward boss) from the South Side of Chicago.
ngoodman: you obviously have a Bible and obviously haven't got a clue as to God's purpose for His Chosen People of Israel. Israel's tremendous impact on the world was waning - fast. The nation had turned from God to false idols and now they wanted to great riches. This was a judgement from God upon a nation that had turned away from God. Whatever gave you the idea that miscarrying was the same as an abortion? Abortion is deliberate. A woman has no control over a miscarriage. Get a Bible survey!
You are so far off base it's pathetic. God did not command Jephthah to sacrifice his daughter. Jephthah made a rash, brash, egotistical vow that had nothing to do with his daughter. Read it again. I'm an 82 year old great-grandmother who had the privilege of teaching Bible classes for many years until my health failed. Before you make anymore blatantly wrong opinions about the character of God, may I suggest you invest in the 5 volume set of "Thru the Bible" by J. Vernon McGee. Expensive, but you need it badly.

The Media's Rape of Reality

Horse hockey! There are additional meanings to the word "rape" which are available in your dictionary. Example: (figurative) spoil or destroy (a place) : the timber industry is raping the land. And yes, Obama is raping our land. Please get a dictionary and use it if you don't already have one on your computer.

She suffers from epilepsy and, because the pattern of seizures is irregular, cannot work, drive a car, etc. Do we need government help right now...you bet we do." I am an 82 year-old great- grandma who, in the past 2 years, has lost my only daughter to breast cancer, my husband to prostate cancer, darn near died in December (torn aorta), lost my home because I can no long afford high taxes so I moved in with my son and daughter-in-law in another state. The last thing I need is more government intervention in my life. Pray for direction and discernment.

Kirsten 12: "Most people view help from the government as being lost on people who don't want to work. If healthy and relatively young, you have a point. However...take my family. Last year, we lost our business and our home." You lost both of them because of the actions and inactions of the Federal government! "My husband has been unable to get employment...he is a software developer and in his 60's." He can't get a job because Obummer is too busy promoting green companies and campaigning for his reelection to be focused on fixing the loopholes in the economy that droves businesses overseas. "I am an RN, age 72, whose health is in question for taking on the rigors of nursing. One of our children lives with us. (continued)
