Gun Owners: Should We Listen to Bob Costas or Jesus Christ?

Obviously the Liberal/Democrat Trolls who are commenting here do not know the Bible. When Jesus tells Peter that, "They who live by the sword shall perish by the sword", He knew Peter's mind at the time of Peter's use of a sword to cut off the ear of the High Priest's servant. There is a big difference in being a "gunman" to being some one who carries a gun for protection. If carrying a gun is wrong then why did Jesus (and the Apostles) see so many Roman soldiers and centurions as being good men and having faith in God?

your comment agrees with the fact that Jesus told his apostles to sell their cloaks to buy a sword.

Most Christians (including preachers and priests) see nothing wrong with defending yourself, your family, and others. Only Liberals/Democrats and government bureaucrats have a problem with an armed citizenry.

As most of you know, during a football game last week Bob Costas lectured us po’ goofy Americans about the evils of a “gun culture” and how we need to evolve away from being obsessed with firearms. As soon as I heard that drivel roll off Mr. C’s tongue I ordered another 30/06, a sweet Walther PPK and a custom .416 Rigby turnbolt. Cowabunga, Bob. Thanks for reminding me to buy more guns.

First off, let me help you, Robert: Guns do not kill people. Dads with daughters do. Oh, and BTW, Planned Parenthood kills a lot of people...
