An Open Letter to Obama Voters

George Bush was awful. “Hope and Change” sounded good. As it turned out, Obama is Bush on steroid. Now we are hoping for change again. Unfortunately, the only change we can expect seems to involve velocity, not direction.

Your comments show how little you know (or knew) about any of these men. They show that you've not bothered to do your own homework. You're just spouting stuff you've heard. If you'd been listening, looking, and researching the issues and the man, you could NEVER have voted for Obama. "Hope and Change" sounded good to morons. It meant nothing. It was a blank that each person filled in, according to what he or she thought the words meant. Similarly, if you have been listening, looking, and researching Romney (objectively), you would NEVER compare him to Obama. As for Bush, your one-word analysis of his presidency shows ignorance, shallow thinking and little understanding of his time in office. Educate yourself. Then speak.

Gottcha!

I live in California . . . no matter who you vote for, a socialist gets elected. So I pulled the lever for Gary Johnson - - - my pathetic way of making a statement.

At least the climate and housing prices are holding up - - - my only reason to be retired here.

Did you vote for Barack Obama in 2008? A lot of people did – obviously.

What a time. There’s still room for improvement, but what a testimony to just how far we as a nation have come in terms of racial harmony, tolerance and diversity.

Only decades earlier a man like Barack Obama – a black man – couldn’t even drink from the same water fountain as a white man, let alone become president of the United States. A hundred years prior to that, and he may well have been counted another man’s property.

On Nov. 4, 2008,...
