Another British Healthcare Horror Story: UK Death Panels

I've read the Affordable Healthcare Act (aka Obamacare). In short it's going to push people out of their current insurance by either making it less expensive for the employer to pay the fine and dump their employees into Obamacare or by taxing employers for keeping their "Cadillac" healthcare plans. So we have an elimination of choice as well as our insurance in favor of a more expensive plan. Next the plan dictates which doctors you can go to so the bit about you being able to keep your doctor...well don't count on it. Next a panel is going to determine what medical procedures you get based on a raft of things including how much in taxes the state can expect to get from you in the future. Granny you might want to worry about that one.
