Candidate Obama was as big a liar as King Barry...

Obama Likes Secrets, Including Yours

"This administration has a simple philosophy: The government has the right to know everything about you, and you have the right to know squat about the government." Actually, it's simpler than that: Barry believes he has a right to rule as he sees fit and screw anyone who disagrees.

"They feared the day when Americans could be easily led and manipulated, which would lead to a drastic alteration of our nation." The Founders would cringe if they saw us now.

Decoding The Source of Confidence

Re: the science test results and lack of confidence, maybe both sexes were expecting a tougher test and they were given a simple test, resulting in higher scores than expected. In today's day and age of "esteem building", it's hard to imagine any younger adults/kids lacking confidence. They sure don't hesitate to spout out ignorant opinions on everything under the sun...

"If, however, “no member of the community envies the total set of resources [of] any other member,” then “equality is perfect” and, hence, there is justice." As the saying goes (paraphrasing), only an intellectual would be dumb enough to believe this sort of swill.

Piketty's Envy Problem

There may be seven deadly sins, but I believe envy should be in a class by itself. I wonder how much of the proceeds from his book sales Mr. Piketty will be redistributing. If the history of his ilk is any guide, it will likely be none. It's other people's money and wealth that are to be redistributed, not the money and wealth of the Pikettys or their benefactors.

The Left Hates Prosperity

GPeyton Wrote: May 27, 2014 12:21 PM
Nice piece. The only tweak I'd make is to say, the Left hates prosperity FOR OTHER PEOPLE. Among themselves, they have no problem using capitalism - and especially cronyism - to enrich themselves.

The Vaunted 'Competence' Of Barack Obama

Barry is the ultimate expression of the self-esteem movement. He didn't earn anything in his life, it was given to him to ensure he had a good self-image. Instead, an egomaniacal blowhard was created, one who reeks of incompetence. But at least he feels good about himself....

Krugman in the 1 Percent

GPeyton Wrote: May 05, 2014 3:12 PM
"So, while Krugman enters the realm of the 1 percent, I actually see that as a very positive sign that even those who condemn the affluent and actively attempt to tax them out of existence still have the opportunity to join them." Almost everything about this sentence is wrong. WRONG! First of all, if you think Krugman is just entering the realm of the 1%, you must be a new migrant to Colorado. He has been there for a LONG time. Second, the fact that he's there - and will stay there, thanks to his crony connections - is also bad. At the very least, it's hypocritical. No one using and abusing his connections while condeming others to poverty should profit from that. EVER. Evil behavior should not be reinforced. EVER. The guy is a scumbag, and a hypocritical one on top of that. He deserves the worst that life can offer.
