Good morning Seawolf! You're right. I think during our generation the prevailing thought was that the parents wanted to give their children all the things that they didn't have and lay the foundations for them to have a better life. Many of those children did indeed honer their parents and were grateful for what the did, and went on to make a good life for themselves. Unfortunately, there were those children that had no real respect for their parents and took everything for granted and became "spoiled brats." It is from this lot that the Communist, (Progressive/Liberals etc,) pick their "Useful Idiots."

Morning Gos..I had a great dad...I came home once with a beer on my breath, he took my carkeys and said "that car won't move for a week". Next morning HIS wouldn't start, I said lets take mine..he looked me in the eye and said "what did I say last night?' We walked 2 miles to the train in the snow both ways for 2 days...tough dude. The lesson was not lost...nowadays these parents want to be their kids "friend" doesn't work that produce whiney wimps that way. IOW liberals.

The choice that we face today is between freedoms on the one hand, and ruin on the other.

There has never been a generation in our history that has been given more than the generation which was born between 1945 and 1960.

They were given so much by their hard and hardy parents, who by fighting through a real economic depression and a great world war, helped bolster freedom for the free and bequeathed freedom to millions of others who lived in the twilight of tyranny.

I call these sons and daughters of what we know as the Greatest...
