Please somebody explain why these are bad things: Smaller government. Economic liberty. Strong defense. Balanced budgets and debt reduction. Aid to the unable only. And don’t muck with social issues. Those, my friends, are what the irrationally maligned Tea Party are all about. Simple, clear, moral. I'm not a member or a poster carrier but I believe in these things and certainly so did George, Tom, James and the others.

M3 has declined $1T for each of the last 4 years...first since 1913. December government jobs dropped 30k and 130k for all of 2012. No growth in spending and lower deficits projected (unless big change down in economy).

Sorry but facts are not showing small govt under republicans as they seem to be under Obama. My R local community govt size has doubled in the last 20 years and the courts are entirely corrupt.

Give me a brake from your rehteric...it rings hollow.

If the things you speak of, smaller government, liberty what had actually occurred during Republican years, then these talking points would seem legitimate. But Bush hired 100k of new "inteligence" workers to spy on us and had huge and massive war debts due. Where is the smaller government there or "conservative" spending?

In December 2012 the size of government declined 30k and for the entire year of 12 declined 130k. Also the deficit has leveled off in the last four years and is predicted to decline. So the deeds speak louder than the hollow phrases you repeat.

"And don’t muck with social issues. "

LOL!
And yet after their big win in 2010 they introduced an absurd amount of abortion bills.
The Tea Party claimed their three objectives were to:
Stop ObamaCare
Make Obama a one term president
Stop spending.

Well, they failed on all three fronts. But they DID manage to introduce a lot of new abortion laws. And thus their big lie was exposed. The Tea Party is simply the GOP on steroids. Nothing more, nothing less.

They strayed from those points to birtherism, asscusations of communism, and other fantasy issues that made them look crazy to anyone serious. That killed the tea party.

Obama has figured out how to force his left wing agenda through even though he was reelected with a divided country. He cherry picks issues which divide the Republican Party. The Republican Party ends up fighting within itself, diverting the public's attention to its chaos rather than Obama's agenda. The Republican Party is left looking unprincipled, confused and hypocritical.

Look at the most recent high-profile political battles. With the help of the complicit liberal media, Obama made extending the payroll tax cut to avoid the “fiscal cliff” one of the biggest issues. It is not a clear-cut Republican versus Democrat issue,...
