Agree. Sending illegal arms to Mexican drug lords which cost civilian lives and w/o the Mexican government's knowledge falls under the purview of foreign policy. I would emphasis Obama's invoking executive privilege when he earlier said he had no knowledge of F&F before it was brought to life. Romney should simply ask "Mr President, the American people want to know what are you hiding? What is so damaging to your adminstration that you don't want the American public to know? What happened to your pledge of transparency? Is this just another broken promise?" The American people have a right to know, especially now, as they are trying to make an informed decision on how to vote.

Gordon, you're right. It's a sure bet that Obama has almost exclusively spent the past week polishing and honing a pat answer on the Benghazi debacle that's designed to 1) muddy the waters, and 2) with Sheiffer's help, make Romney seem like he's the bad guy. What Romney should do instead is ambush Obama on Fast & Furious. Obama won't be ready for it.... he thinks Benghazi has displaced F&F as a debate issue. Mitt can slam-dunk him with F&F during the debate, then keep hitting him with Benghazi on the stump for the next two weeks.
