I am very much aware that many, many, people disagree with me and many, many, people disagree with the Bible. That does not alter the fact that we will all, including me, be judged by it and the God that wrote it. God gives you free will to believe or be fooled. It is your choice. I decided a long time ago that I would rather try to follow a God that can do what he wills with my eternal soul based on my behavior. Where you decide to spend eternity is up to you. I opt for the opportunity to spend it with a loving God rather than the very certain prospect of spending it in the lake of fire if I deny Him and the absolute truth of his word. Do what you will but you will answer to God, not society's opinion of sin.

I’m always on the hunt for positive news, there being such consistent media focus on the bad stuff. Most days, headlines essentially read, “Handbasket full; hell in sight.”

So a recent headline caught my eye because of its positive tone: “Survey: Big drop in those who say being gay’s a sin.” According to Lifeway Research, a division of Lifeway Christian Resources of the Southern Baptist Convention, significantly fewer Americans defined homosexual behavior as sinful in 2012 than in 2011.
