I'm about as conservative as they come- a firm believer in individual liberty, small government, low taxes, a vigorous national defense, sealed borders, states rights, anti-union, etc. But, lord almighty (pun intended), whenever other conservatives start quoting scripture to me my eyes glaze over and I'm off to the nearest exit.

I mean, come on folks. I truly believe most rational, reasonable, and level headed conservatives do not need to use Biblical scripture to back up their political arguments. And no, that doesn't make them RINO'S or atheists or agnostics or whatever other names you choose to call them either. Many are people of faith, deep faith, but simply choose not to wear their religion on their sleeves.
