A bit off topic but I can’t resist reporting that the 6 bullets that killed Mussolini were fired by 21 Italian sharpshooters. Back on topic there are too few of us that didn’t perceive the fact the Zerobama is a phony from the get-go.
sparc, Having a third party, either government of a union, declare the value of an employee can only be described as insanity. The same people that advocate increasing the minimum wage would still want to pay based on the value of services provided. Like all liberals they want the rules to apply to everyone except themselves. The free market will fill the demand for services and the greater the demand the greater the value of those services. When a third party sets the value higher than the value of the service the service is either performed by the employer or deemed to be unnecessary.
The argument that illegal aliens fill jobs that American won’t do is ludicrous. If all of the illegal aliens were deported today a demand for filling the vacated positions would be created. That demand would increase the wages offered to fill those jobs. WAIT A MINUTE! That’s a bad idea because it would reduce unemployment by putting Americans back to work. Any plan the reduce dependence will never see the light of day.
Hey Navy, Fence? Fine employers? That’s really bad idea, if for no other reason your plan WOULD work and it would be cost effective!!!

President Joe Biden? Hmmmm...

My first thought after Bidden was selected to selected for VP was that the very idea of him becoming president was an iron clad life insurance policy on Zerobama. Now that we know that the zero is not capable of running a lemon aide stand the terms of the policy have changed to cover an impeachment. The fact that there is no question B^4 (Babbling Bird Brain Biden) is an American is the only redeeming factor if the zero is thrown out of the White House. Perhaps Sarah is right, by the time Biden figured out where the oval office and the White House bathrooms were it would be 2016; he wouldn’t have to make any policy decisions.
Regardless of Christie’s stand on guns or magazine capacity the RNC shouldn’t give him a second thought. New Jersey is too far to the East and too far to the North. As for his stand on The 2nd Amendment, guns and/or magazine capacity he doesn’t have a clue. Even if he didn’t support a limit on magazine capacity it was for the wrong reason. If his reason were that only the law abiding would comply with the limit and thugs would not do so would make sense. If he recognized that fact that when multiple assailants are involved a limit on magazine capacity is a limit self-protection he would make even more sense. Even if two or three thugs complied with a magazine limit a single victim would be out gunned by a factor of two or three. It’s easy to figure if the bad guys or good guys would be better off with magazine limits. The problem, as I see it, is he looks at the gun issue from a law enforcement official view not from the view of a person that is in need of self-defense.
Hey karpe, Maybe she is a joke but what difference does that make? There’s a joke in the White House but no body is laughing.

Guns in the Home

Why is the fear of guns an issue now-a-days? There something basically wrong when: Before electric lighting kids knew how to carry a candle upstairs when going to bed. They didn’t even have ‘fire proof’ pajamas and if they set themselves or the house on fire that was so rare that for practical purposes it never happened. When I was in grade school there was a real honor in being assigned the duty of crossing guard. Kids were no smarter then but they were graded on ‘Citizenship’ just like Reading, Riting and Rithmatic. Kids were also trained to look both ways before you cross a street. It’s astounding how many adults (and their kids) wander around in parking lots and NEVER turn their head to see what a car approaching from behind is doing. Maybe that’s because they know that if they are lucky enough to survive an accident a lawyer can make them rich. There have been a lot of changes in 80 years; unfortunately they have not all been good.
George, Wait until no one needs to be productive because all of there needs are ‘free;’ maybe the libs will find out there’s no one left to pay for the free stuff. Do you think they will get the message???

The 1911 Pistol

Good choice if you are large enough to conceal it, otherwise use one with a Commander top and an officers grip. I think that combo is called a CCO, i.e., concealed carry officers.
