What? Opposites must exist? Why is that? Who says? There's no reason there, that's not even an argument. That just a flat statement of belief. I believe that evil, death, and the grave will all be defeated (I get that from the back of "the book"). Hmmm, that would leave good without evil. My belief isn't your belief. All that being said - there's no proof in there whatsoever. Let's be reasonable and avoid smugness. And just to throw in one more point of view: People suffer because, as the bumper sticker teacheth, "Mean People Suck." It's that simple. So why wouldn't a loving God just bully the bullies? Because God's isn't merely the biggest bully in the universe. However He is just, and there is a day of reckoning, It's...
Digging up some immigration law from 1795, is that what you do with your free time?

Well, it's holding you in good stead. Keep up the good work.

The Top 10 Conservatives Of 2009

Everyone seems enamored at the idea of Palin as the new conservative King.

Has anyone considered how she has positioned herself as king-maker instead? Is it better to have the crown or be the one placing the crown on the king's head.

Who is more in charge - Obama or Soros?

She's crazy - - like a fox!

This article says that there's a decision for Republican leadership to make: go centrist/liberal, or go conservative.

The prescription is go conservative.

Oh, but only be enough conservative to talk about fiscal conservatism. Social conservatism isn't about liberty vs. tyranny as much - so downplay it.

What?!?

Conservatism is a principle - and this principle can work out through many applications be they fiscal, social, interpersonal, whatever. They are values that shape our thought process.

The fear of being unbridled in your conviction is the undercurrent of this article. That kind of "urging" has got to change if we have a hope of saving this republic.

Brave

This is a well written, simple statement about as true a 'meaning of Christmas' as you can get.

It's disheartening to have to say that it is brave of you to state it.

Our society really needs change now more than ever.
