Amen Cleombrotus lillith doesn't know our faith.. it's obvious and the faith that our rights are according to natural law, not government law. Our founders instituted a government who's sole purpose was to protec our freedoms from being violated, and that includes the confiscation of our property without our choice or compensation. All of this comes from free will. Our founders did not want the church out of government, but the government out of church which includes any threat of losing "tax exemption". This is meddling in church affairs, and if churches can't preach free will and our rightful use of the fruits of our labor then government is intruding, not churches intruding in government. www.fairtax.org cures this.

God never created government. Ours was the first government instituted among men to protect our natural rights from being violated. We use government to collectively protect our rights. That is why you go to work not fearing someone will come and confiscate your home or other propery or kill you. It is the proper use of law that guarantees our tranquility and unity. As soon as the law chooses winners and losers, freedom is lost.

I meant the wanted Government out of religion, not religion out of government. Jefferson even helped start the first Anglican church in Washington D.C. Morality and Freedom is Freedom with responsibilityand to use the force of law to gain charity is immoral. If Ceasar would just deal with Ceasar then by all means, churches should be silent. But if churches don't stand for the natural rights of man to use the fruits of his labor for himself and his family first, then they are immoral as well. To say nothing is saying something. Evil in government only exists because good men do nothing.

Our founders wanted church out of religion, NOT religion out of government. They wrote that our form of government could only exist with a moral society. This includes recognizing the immorality of using the law to steal private property to give to those consuming it. Government charity, government confiscation by taxing income before you use it to spend, save or invest IS immoral. It is more immoral for anyone to use that to get welfare, food stamps, rent subsidies, lunch programs paid for through tax dollars confiscated without choice.

Or another group that must lobby to protect itself from confiscation. (loop holes). No need, because the FairTax is equal and uniform. Bill Gates pays exactly the same tax as you if he buys new. Don't you think Bill Gates buys a lot more new and more expensive new than you?

With the FairTax there could be no government threat, because there are no exemption to take away.. !! The US Government would be out of the church. Which is religious freedom, where the government cannot threaten them! The FairTax taxes us ONE time whenever we purchase something NEW. One time, no hidden taxes, no taxed multiple times, able to keep all of your income and fica withholding. We get to see quite precisely what government costs us on every new retail receipt. No more audits for the private citizen. We are able to keep what we earn to save, spend or invest when and how much WE want, from the fruits of OUR labor. No more need for tax lobbyists to either bribe for more private property to be confiscated to benefit others.
