Polls: Obama Approval Rating Slumps

"Obama[s] numbers are salvaged by high marks from blacks (87/3). " "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character." -- Martin Luther King, Jr. When the same blacks that approve so highly of Obama are suffering a 14% unemployment rate, it is plain to see that Dr. King's dream has yet to be fulfilled. The first black president was elected because of millions of white voters, who then expected him to perform as a unifying force. He hasn't. They called him on it. They were labeled racists for judging him on the content of his character rather than the color of his skin. Pathetic.

Reality is, the only thing Barack Obutthole has in common with a man like Martin Luther King Jr. or any other man of ebony colored skin who was born in the USA of slave lineage is that ebony colored skin.....

For any American of slave lineage to believe they can relate to Barack Obutthole, truly does reveal a depth of ignorance and racism far beyond my ability to comprehend it.

As President Obama prepares to deliver the first State of the Union Address of his second term, his job approval ratings appear to be reverting to their medicore norm.  Both CNN's "poll of polls" and an early February survey from Quinippiac show Obama dipping back into the 40s, suggesting that his brief inaugural afterglow is fading:

Do you approve or disapprove of the way Barack Obama is handling his job as president?

Overall Approve: 46 percent
Overall Disapprove: 45 percent

Independents: 40/47...
