The Tea Party is Kaput! Now, what will the Rethugs concoct for 2012? Anger management is played. Jobs, jobs, jobs, is played too. The Republican party is holding a whole lotta nothing. Romney at the top of the ticket, a job cremator, represents the moneyed elite in all their narcissistic glory. The fundy religious right is disenfranchised by Mormon pretensions. The only republican to get up early in the morning to vote in November will be non-cultural types with secure jobs. The nightmare for the Republican base has been to be cut adrift without a base to support them. Thus they support anything: racism, creationism, militarism, even birtherism. All played out. This is the elites sans base.

Small minds always leap to the answers given the last time around, which is probably why Maxine Waters keeps getting re-elected. But the last time is not necessarily the same as this time. A terrorist attack is not the same as the Cold War, a war in Afghanistan is not the same as a war in Iraq, and Mitt Romney is not the same as John McCain or Bob Dole.
