Usually, when someone seems to miss seemingly obvious logical connections, it is by intention. Usually, it is because if they acknowledged the underlying principle, they'd have to recognize some wrongdoing or moral failing on their part. The millennial solution to unemployment and failure will doubtless be to ask Obama to steal more money from the responsible/hardworking/productive sector of society and give it to them.
