My question is: Will Paul Ryan be Mitt Romney's Spiro Agnew? That is someone who makes a lot of distracting conservative noise while the president pursues a "progressive" agenda? I do not trust Mitt Romney. His background and his record are intensely anti-conservative. The people are starving. Let the eat rhetoric!

The question then for you would be which will be the lesser of two evils? I think you can only vote for Romney because Obama's record as president is Romney's record as governor on serious steriods.

Voting for the lesser of two evils is still voting for evil. That said I'll be voting for the liberal mormon sob because It may eventually give us Ryan as president

Mrs. Romney is both a wonderful woman and married. As to your reference to Gov Romney's religion: how very bigoted of you.
In my home state of TX calling someone an SOB was a direct offense to the man's mother and earned the loudmouth a well deserved punch in the mouth. Good policy that. Turd.

While I respect your distrust in Romney, if you do not vote or do vote for Obama, then you are a damn fool.

Mitt Romney's decision to select Rep. Paul Ryan as his running mate speaks well of the man who made it. Indeed, it seemed less like the moderate man we have come to know than Adm. David Farragut in Mobile Bay:

"Damn the torpedoes! Full speed ahead!"

Facing sinking polls, endless attack ads on his tax returns and Bain Capital record, and venomous lies that he was culpable in the cancer death of the wife of a steelworker seven years after he left Bain, Romney decided to convert this dismal campaign into a stark choice of philosophies and policies....
