How can you take 'greenies' seriously when they define what we ALL breathe out is a pollutant? How are soft drink companies ALLOWED to put that pollutant into my drink? Get rid of that pollutant and then all the plants die too. Greenies want to be the 'controllers' because of a mental defect. After all, they KNOW better than anyone else because they were taught that at taxpayer funded institutions. Are we even certain that CO2 is a cause and not a _result_ of warming? And why did the ice age end 10,000 years ago WITHOUT global warming - with no fossil fuels and few people?

Glenn, when the paleoclimate record consistently shows that CO2 levels start rising 300 to 800 years after temperatures start rising, one can safely say that higher CO2 levels are an effect, not a cause, of global warming. Unless there is some sort of time travel effect from CO2 increases. You know: CO2 rises, temp rises, CO2 does a time shift of 300 to 800 years into the future. That sort of thing.

Two of catastrophic climate change’s staunchest supporters have been out on the stump promoting their cause—with conflicting statements.

On February 20, Secretary of State John Kerry gave his first speech, as Secretary, at the University of Virginia where he offered a glimpse of how he sees tackling climate change as part of his job—as is “reducing nuclear threat,” “fighting corruption in Nigeria,” and breaking “the cycle of poverty, poor nutrition and hunger.”

On the same day, February 20, NASA’s James Hansen was speaking in Santa Fe, New Mexico, at the Lensic Theater, with a follow-up presentation...
