Robert. What on earth are you smoking? The Democrats have been, until recently, the majority in the Senate and House meaning they are and were the big spenders that drove us to this point?
Elizabeth: Those little trolls should voluntarily wear bright colored matching wrist bands so that our heros will know the trolls don't want heroic assistance, even in their darkest hour.
New York Times columnist William Deresiewicz recently claimed that not all heros are heros. He talked about our men/women in uniform, including police and firemen. To the NY Times editors, and readers who agreed with the writer, you should be thinking carefully about bashing military and men/women in uniform now that Hurricane Irene is about to visit your city.
Sounds good on paper until you raealize that eventually these companies will be bought out and bundled into huge nationwide corporations called monopolies. Look at our banks. We bailed them out because they were too big to fail and then what did they do, did they give us interest on our savings accounts--no--they took the money and bought up all the smaller banks, even banks in other countries. That's what will happen with healthcare. They kill competition, deliberately.

My father died from a punctured intestine during a routine colonoscopy. He was perfectly halthy before the exam. His feces spread throughout his intestinal cavity and the intestines began to die off, inch by inch. The end result was a green, bloated body. It took him several weeks to die.

Don;t fall for Plastic People. We want real people, with integrity, who love and respect this country and will lead us without compromise.
Keep in mind that everyone has their shortcomings.

Were you expecting OB to give public credit, at Ground Zero, for waterboarding the detainee who spilled the beans on Osama Bin Laden?

It's time to put referendum voting, for national issues, in place so that We The People can vote on issues of major importance, similar to referendum votes taken on a local level in states and muicipalities. Otherwise, issues such as curtailing the power of the Federal Reserve will remain undebated and the Federal Reserve will continue to spin its web of power from one political party to another, with neither party willing to swat the web down.
