I don't disagree with Byron's broad point that the GOP needs to look at alot of things, but the core conservative-right leaning issues-I think are okay. You can look a segments of the voting public that are approximately the same % of the electorate, i.e., hispanic, military/veteran, senior citizen and few others that add up to say 6-8% of voters, and each of those could be said to make a difference. Taking the Hispanic segment-Romney lost 4% compared to McCain's run in 2008, but still GOP losing 70%+ of a substantial block. Hispanics = 6-7% of total electorate, its easy math to conclude up to a 4.5mil. voter win, if the GOP gets back to highest they received recently(under Bush34%)they still lose to Obama. GOP needs Jim Messina!
I believe all the States have the right of self-destiny regarding financial matters, so if you listen closely to the statements from Gov.'s Perry and Kasich they are making that arguement-which in my opinion will be upheld by the US Supreme Court, where this issue will ultimately be ajudicated.
There is no morality in French society where adultery is condoned openly by society in general, and by its leaders specifically. Where moral relativity exists for the individual no God is needed , or wanted. As we know, when the foundation (God's Word) is destroyed the fate-eternal destination- of man is Hell. When Satan succeeds in blinding our belief in God's Word and His desire for us to appropriate His commands, statutes and standards into our daily life, then rebellion exists. The same lie from Satan in the Garden- "surely God hath not said..."-exists today, so being tested, we are accountable for our own belief and corresponding actions. Once saved(profess that Jesus is Lord & Saviour)we must live accordingly-by the Spirit of Truth.
