Geez, guys, why is everyone so rude? The fastest way to make an intellectual discussion into a brawl is to start throwing around insults like second graders on the playground. I know you're all intelligent people, and we're all adults. And I know it's hard to believe, but both sides really do think they're doing what's best for the country. So perhap a little civility? Love your neighbor as yourself? Or, if you must think of it in these terms, love your enemy?

If your last line was, "some missed the memo" what you said would have been a haiku. Just pointing that out for no real reason.

Nope, nickel. Teehee.

If Penny is a person named Penny (presumably a haiku aficionado?), then no, I am not she.

Sometimes people forget this is called townhall not freedom outpost

A word to my friends in Washington: As you contemplate all the whiz-bang things that you’re going to do with your new-found tax dollars, please consider an important lesson found in biology.

If you want to successfully feed off the lives of others, don’t kill the host.

Obama may imagine that we don’t have a spending problem, but DC can only rake off so much before we implode.

Parasites that want to survive, adapt to this truth.

I was reminded of this as I looked through companies that might struggle in 2013.
