IMO, we should require all represenatives in both houses,to be bound by the same laws they pass and have enforced on the remaining 400 million or so citizens of this nation. NO exemptions for them in health care or social security, as examples. They are to be bound to the laws they pass like everyone else. They should be required to have an IQ above 10. Most of these distinguished people are funtional illiterates No more forming caucuses for every sub group occupying a seat. The congress and senate ARE caucuses. Political correctness was bred from here, and is destroying U.S. Outright lying should be an impeachable offense for any federal or local representative. We would have two completely empty federal houses and an empty W.H. Treason doesn't seem to work. Your average citizen understands the concept of not telling the truth, treason is TOO hard.

Raising the minimum wage will make employers of minimum wage employees hire fewer people. Who wins then.....Oh,, then our organizer in chief will, with the stroke of his pen and use of his phone, mandate that employers can not fire employees. Then the business fiolds, and voila, no opne has a job.....

The military always have plans. They use war games all the time, so waiting for the military is lie, but yes, stall tactics are his one and only strategy. Come to think of it, not telling the truth has workd for him as well as blaming others.
Cuomo is a freakin disgrace. He is corrupt and the media ignore it.
I agree with you. You can not negotiate anyway other than with the biggest gun you have. It is that simple........
Eric Holder should be fired, and his boss should be impeached. The country is more divided since these two held federal offices. The only transparancy is them......

The problem isn't the money, it is the quality of the representative. They are not to be in any office for life. That is the problem. Being a congressman or senator is not a life long career. It is supposed to be in and out. Serve and leave. What our present system encourages is the creation of HACkS. Both houses are loaded with them. These hacks abuse their office by exempting their office from legislation that affects the rest of the country. For example, take the ACA. Congress is exempt. Insider trading, congress is exempt. If they were subject to the same guidelines as the rest of us, perhaps they would pass laws that are just. They are not a ruling class. They are no better or worse than the rest of us.

It is painfully obvious that American voters, vote with no knowledge of who they are voting for. Just look at all the dead weight in both housews of congress. The list is too long to name all the incompetent members on both sides of the aisle. This tripe is re-elected for decades. The average voter is brain dead, and now it appears they may not need to be citizens. Our best and brightest are not in the political arena. Just look at the White House...
