Get a grip....our nation was not so divided by race and socioeconomics until this guy took office and started the jealousy and envy. Isn't it time for the minorities to get out and bring themselves out of the welfare plight....because it is their fault that they are there. As far as the illegals, we need to find a way to deal with this...the ones that are here now, and stop the invasion from the south The conservatives have never excluded anyone...this is the myth perpetrated by the left for division...look at history....Lincoln (a Republican) freed the slaves...the KKK's membership was Democrats who not only intimidate and killed the blacks, they intimidated the Republicans who came south to help the blacks get equal rights.

This election cycle has been one of the most interesting in modern history. Most observers agree that the nation was split down the middle on their opinions of the character and vision of the candidates. Without assigning blame, I would like to ask the question: How is it that a campaign of Hope and Change has resulted in such division?
