He also said "Those who pound their guns to plows, will plow for those who do not." Dec. 17, San Antonio, Tx...man comes into restaurant to shoots ex-wife, people run to the theatre next door...he follows to shoot more people, unfortunately for him, an off-duty police officer was in the theatre and before he could unload, SHE pulled her gun and put four bullets in him....death toll from shooter...zero, nill, nada, none. Did the lame stream media report this? Heck no. David on Meet the Press sends is kids to a school that doesn't have an armed guard...they have 11 armed guards. Need I say more?

"Being a Christian doesn't mean being a pacifist." Right on ,Chris.
The pacifists are the "weakest link" and the path that sinners and criminals take usually begins with them.
Running is the pacifist way out of conflict; appeasement is the pacifist way into conflict.

Being a Christian doesn't mean I won't still shoot you dead if you invade my home. Jesus said that anyone who couldn't afford a sword should sell his shirt and buy a sword. Watch the movie "Sergeant York". Being a Christian doesn't mean being a pacifist.

It happens probably nightly. A citizen fights off a criminal in order to protect his property. But it doesn't always make the nightly news. In this case it did.

But...

How much easier and safer would have been this takedown of a punk in New York City if the clerk had been equipped with a hand gun rather than just a vodka bottle?  How much less of a burden to the taxpayer too, who will now have to incarcerate the criminal?

And just think of chilling effect it would have on criminals if shootings of miscreants during crimes like this were on the nightly...
