The framers of the Constitution did not have in mind the protection of persons on the basis of so-called sexual orientation or preference. If one's sexual preferences become a protected class under the equal protection clause, there can be no argument that will be sufficiently compelling to prevent the Supreme Court from expanding that class to include those who wish to marry blood relatives or multiple partners.
