GM is owned not by we the people, but by the unions. Look at the latest contract: never mind that the company still owes millions to the government, the workers are getting bonuses. Wonder how much the execs are making. The shareholders got nothing and their former CEO (IIRC) was 'encouraged' to resign. If I have to buy another car, I'd rather NOT have a post-2008 GM car.
