White liberals vote Democrat - which includes your typical American-hating lefty with their Masters degree in social science. Liberals don't believe in God - so they manufacture their own god - "government" in order to fill up that empty place inside that tells them they are a bad person. A lot of liberals in the northeast use their "god-government" to convince themselves they are a good person. In the meantime, their government has become Leviathan - and uncontrollable machine that never stops growing or spending money. What can stop Leviathan? Our national debt will stop it - finally.

Becca,

Please repeat that so we can all hear it. "I think that most of those on welfare don't vote at all."

That's what Democrats have been trying to tell the right for a while now. And it's the right who screams about all Democrats being "takers."

I don't understand why you consistently comment on things I've said rebutting a specific argument that a particular person said by arguing that, "Republicans don't all believe that."

I'm responding to what people on this very site are arguing. If you don't think that Republicans think all Democratic voters are takers, just look at your Presidential candidate who said that 47% of the electorate were victims voting for their handout.

wtmoore-I see you're still spewing your ignorant rants. No, I don't think that everyone who votes Dim is on welfare-in fact, I think that most of those on welfare don't vote at all. Why are you always claiming to know what Republicans think? I do, however, think that there are a lot of Dims who are ignorant enough to believe stupid cr@p like thinking that women should pay for their own birth control pills constitutes a "war on women". They are apparently gullible enough to believe that expecting people to pay their own way is MEAN. I do prefer to be on the side that believes that personal responsibility is morally and ethically preferable.

Thank you, TunTavern!

Republicans think the statistics that show that Democrats and Republicans on average make about the same salaries are flawed because everyone who votes Democrat is on welfare. I mean, that has to be true because it's a primary plank in the Republican platform of moral superiority. If Democrats aren't all "takers," then people might actually start to question their moral inferiority.

Nah, just dismiss those "statistics." It's easier that way. Besides, those facts didn't come from the Heritage Foundation, so they're not real facts anyway...

I apologize to America's young people, whose dashed dreams and dim employment prospects I had laughed at, believing these to be a direct result of their voting for Obama.

On closer examination, it turns out that young voters, aged 18-29, overwhelmingly supported Romney. But only the white ones.

According to Pew Research, 54 percent of white voters under 30 voted for Romney and only 41 percent for Obama. That's the same percentage Reagan got from the entire white population in 1980. Even the Lena Dunham demographic -- white women under 30 -- slightly favored Romney.

Reagan got...
