The Republicans ran essentially an 'All-White, All-Rich, All-Older' Convention, and now they are trying to figure out how to appeal to the majority of the American people who don't fall into those 3 categories? Good luck with that.

Yeah. A generation or two ago, maybe they had a better chance. The destruction caused by the public school and university system, unfortunately, has come to full fruition. It's probably impossible to convince a lot of young, undereducated, indoctrinated, mushy-headed, spoiled, little Marxist wanna-bes that personal responsibility, self-determination, hard-work-leads-to-success, and respect for others is actually the way a decent person wants to live. The scare quotes are necessary because I don't think the Republican Party is racist now (and, historically, the GOP has a lot less to answer for than the Democratic Party does).

But that hasn't stopped a lot of people from slandering Republicans as racist for one reason or another.
