I, for one, want all of the fine conservative governors, senators and representatives to remain where they are. This fight to return our country to something remotely resembling our founders' vision requires solid conservatives in all roles at all levels of government. I dislike this tendency in conservative circle to attempt fast tracking people who are doing a great job in those other positions into presidential or vice-presidential candidates. Unless they've got someone of equally conservative views to fill their place, they need to stay where they are. The progressives have spent the last 100 years incrementally moving our country to where it is today. It's going to take a long time and a lot of committed people to fix it.

Rice firmly opposed rumors about her potential to run alongside the presumptive Republican presidential nominee during a speech to 1,500 at the Executives’ Club of Chicago.
