Texas Shows Its Swagger in New Population Estimates
Every city you visit in Texas, there is construction everywhere. Even El Paso, a city that has lagged behind the state with higher unemployment, has a much rosier picture than cities such as Detroit, Cleveland and Baltimore.
Very few states can claim they're in better shape now than at the start of 2000, but Texas is one of them.
My prediction is we'll secede in the next 10 years.
