Any "tax" that a business pays is a cost of doing business. That cost is passed on to the consumer. You pay the businesses taxes when you buy their product or service. It is a hidden cost, imbedded in the price of the product or service that the business offere for sale. The Fair Tax would eliminate these imbedded costs.

Here's some actual data from the SS Administration Statement that I received. Over the last 42 years my employers and I have patd $83,815 in SS taxes. When I retire in a year at age 62, I may receive $1,006 a month. So in 7 years I will have used up all that the govm't collected from me. At that point I will be living on the dole, as some describe. If I die before I reach age 62, my heirs will receive nothing. For a few years I worked for the PO, and contributed 10% of my wages into the Thrift Savings Plan, like the Congressmen have.
